Family Readiness

This page is probably the most important page on the web site because it deals with the real back bone of the 169th CSB; and that is the spouses, and boyfriends and girlfriends of unit members. Family support is not just a group of men a women who plan activities for the unit. Instead they are a group that plays a very important role in the 169th CSB's being battle ready. Some of the things family support deals with are:

	A central place for questions and answers to be directed if the unit should ever deploy.
	A group that helps raise money for unit functions and also for emergency needs of unit members and families.
	A group that sponsors new families of the unit. This requires briefing new unit members and their families about benefits and agencies that can be utilized by guard members and their families.
	A stand alone group that works with the State Family Support during unit deployments.
